The KM512 LN 42PL head is mainly used in printers printing with UV, solvent and oil-based inks. The resolution of the KM512 LN 42PL head is 360 dpi. The Konica Minolta KM512 LN head with a droplet size of 42 pico liters has an integrated heater, heated to 55 degrees Celsius. The KM512 LN printhead is also known as KM512 LNX.
Special attention should be paid to UV protection when printing glass media before printing. Otherwise, UV rays can be reflected by the glass and then hit the head. Such actions cause permanent and irreversible damage to the head. Replacing the signal tapes with the head is also very important.
